eSIM installation 2024

Installing the eSIM on your iPhone or iPad can be done in three different ways. After activating the eSIM, you can immediately make calls and use the internet.

First, you can scan the QR code. Secondly, you can install the eSIM via the provider's app. Finally, you can install the eSIM manually.

Set up eSIM via QR code

Setting up the eSIM via QR code on your iPhone or iPad is done as follows.

  1. Go to Settings'
  2. Go to 'Mobile network' or 'Mobile data'
  3. Go to 'Add mobile subscription'
  4. Scan the QR code with your device's camera
  5. If necessary, enter the confirmation code from your provider

Set up eSIM via an app

Setting up the eSIM via an app from your provider is done as follows.

  1. Go to the App Store
  2. Download the app from your provider
  3. Follow the app's instructions

Set up eSIM manually

Manually setting up the eSIM is done as follows.

  1. Go to Settings'
  2. Go to 'Mobile network' or 'Mobile data'
  3. Go to 'Enter info manually'
